Elbek & Vejrup sets Konges Sløjd up for further growth with D365 BC and K3 Pebblestone

Konges Sløjd is a Danish brand that specialises in high-end children’s clothing, interiors and toys. Founded in 2014, it employs more than 110 employees and has experienced significant growth, selling its luxury products to 85 markets globally.

With a growth journey that is far from over, Konges Sløjd faced several challenges on the horizon that it wanted to prepare for. To support its growth plans, Konges Sløjd required a new ERP that could accommodate the needs of a larger company with subsidiaries in several countries.

Fashion companies typically need many different systems e.g. PIM, webshop, PLM and PDM. Due to this, it was critical for Konges Sløjd that the new ERP system was open and integrable, so that data could flow freely between them and that they matched.

Finally, there was also desire to optimise and automate a wide range of processes that would eliminate duplicative work, manual processes and save time.

“With the system landscape we have built to support our ambitions, it is absolutely essential that we also have a solution on the ERP part that works well with our other systems, both technically and commercially. Here, Business Central is obvious,” said Kasper Strømme Andersen, IT Director at Konges Sløjd A/S.

The solution chosen, and subsequently implemented by Elbek & Vejrup, was the cloud-based D365 Business Central and K3 Pebblestone.

Additionally, Elbek & Vejrup’s proprietary strong integration engine, EV Data Flow, that enables deep integrations to all conceivable systems fashion companies have for e.g. PLM, PDM, webshop, etc. was also implemented.

Furthermore, Konges Sløjd received a number of Elbek & Vejrup’s other fashion-specific
modules for handling e.g. intercompany, task queues, sales orders and price calculation.

“With Business Central and K3 Pebblestone, we have implemented an ERP system that is future-proof, scalable, open and can support all our needs now and in the future. We expect the solution that we have created together to improve our business, and we can adapt the system to all critical business processes. We are looking into a future with greater complexity and, among other things, intercompany processes across several companies in several countries,” added Andersen.
