Managing 26 stores, 300+ points of sale, wholesale operations and eCommerce channels demands more than disconnected systems and spreadsheets. Swiss fashion brand NILE implemented Dynamics 365 to create a single view of inventory, sales and merchandise across its business, helping improve replenishment planning, streamline consignment operations and support sustainability initiatives through greater product traceability and transparency.

Founded in 1983, NILE has grown into a multi-channel fashion retailer with branded stores, wholesale partners, department store concessions and eCommerce operations across multiple markets. However, disconnected legacy systems and manual processes made it increasingly difficult to manage inventory, analyse performance, and support continued growth.

In response to these pressures, NILE deployed Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Commerce and Supply Chain Management to create a more unified view across finance, retail, warehouse and supply chain processes. The platform connects product, inventory, and sales information across the business, making it easier for teams to make informed decisions.

Previously, goods sold through department stores and retail partners created visibility gaps between sales activity and inventory data. Dynamics 365 now allows NILE to manage these channels as though they were its own stores, providing an accurate and consistent view of inventory across the business.

The ERP also allows NILE to account for orders already in progress to help stores maintain appropriate stock levels and give planners access to inventory and sales at the variant level, rather than simply replacing products after a sale.

Beyond inventory and retail operations, Dynamics 365 helps NILE maintain visibility of certified products throughout the business. Sustainability credentials can be carried through operational processes, invoices and customer-facing channels, something that directly supports NILE’s commitment to contributing to the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
